Wading Through Misinformation

Josh Hamilton
Advancements in technology are moving very fast in many different areas, from 5G to self-driving electric cars; the future can seem scary because we don't know how all these new technologies work or the benefits of the changes.

It sounds alarming when you read articles about cancer-causing wavelengths and theories that blame 5G towers for disease. Still, there are actual benefits to faster internet speeds. Moving from 4G to 5G can be revolutionary; once the system is built out and more widely available, it can push forward life-changing advancements. For example, 5G makes it possible to perform medical surgery remotely in places that would have been impossible years ago.

Unfortunately, all the information shared online & otherwise isn't accurate, and it's hard to wade through and decide what information is reliable.

We're bombarded with misinformation at an alarming rate. It's hard to take anything at face value. It is impossible to read an article online and trust everything written.

This isn't the case with God.
God always does what He says He is going to do.

Just like Zachariah 1:6 says, "But everything I said through my servants, the prophets, happened to your ancestors just as I said. As a result, they repented and said, 'We have received what we deserved from the Lord of Heaven's Armies. He has done what he said he would do.'"

God is Truth and cannot lie.

God is a God of His Word, and He said all our sins are paid in full. So, why are we living in defeat?

Why are we living as if we have to defeat this sinful nature and overcome sin in our own life?

Why are we not accepting and resting in the finished work of the cross?

Why are we living defeated when we should be living victoriously?

We have the righteousness of Jesus on us now. Righteousness is not something we will only obtain if we do not sin or something God will give us one day. No, Jesus gave us His righteousness when He traded it for our sin on the cross.

This is why we can live victorious every day.

Let's walk in God's Truth and believe Christ.

He has already declared, "It is finished."

Let's take Him at His word.
